TAIFOONNode Runners & Executors
Executors race to fulfill cross-chain execution requests. When an intent is submitted (e.g., "bridge 100 USDC from Ethereum to Base"), executors compete to fulfill it first with a valid proof.
First correct execution wins the reward. Incorrect proofs result in slashing.
Operators bond FOON to increase reward multipliers and demonstrate commitment to correct execution. Higher bonds = higher rewards + higher responsibility.
Successful execution is tied to inclusion proofs under the SuperRoot commitment model. Execution correctness is cryptographically enforceable rather than reputation-based.
Invalid proof submission → Slashing. Correct execution → Reward + reputation boost.
| Revenue Source | Share | Distribution |
|---|---|---|
| Base Reward Pool | 50% | Distributed to all active operators proportionally |
| Performance Bonus | 20% | Distributed based on execution speed and accuracy |
| Validator Share | 20% | Synchronizers and indexers |
| Treasury | 10% | Protocol development and ecosystem |
Hardware: Standard cloud VM (4 vCPU, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD recommended)
Network: Low-latency connection to major RPC endpoints
Bond: Minimum 100,000 FOON for Bronze tier
Software: Taifoon operator node (Docker or binary)
Economic Opportunity: 70% of all protocol revenue flows to operators. Growing cross-chain transaction volume = growing rewards.
Early Community: Genesis operators receive favorable terms. Shape the network's early development.
Reputation Building: Successful execution history translates to higher trust scores and better opportunities in the ecosystem.
